Marco Beverage Systems, a global leader in manufacturing water and coffee brewing systems for the HORECA, food service and specialty beverage industries, has announced today the release of POURD: a beverage dispense unlike anything seen before. POURD is a beverage dispense system that allows sites to serve drinks right at the point of service from a single, sleek font. The RTD option is very straightforward. Beverages can be dispensed straight from a bag-in-box, urn, or container kept in the fridge, kegerator or under the counter. POURD RTD is available in a one-button font for push and hold, a hands-free font for hygienic activation, or a three-button font for up to three pre-programmed beverage sizes. In concentrate variants, POURD can dispense a range of drinks from a single concentrate source. POURD automates the dilution process, using either chilled or mains water to dilute the concentrate. The system is compatible with concentrate ratios from 1:1 to 9:1 with an accuracy of within +/-2ml. The POURD 3 Button Concentrate variant also provides a single, separate water line within the countertop font. This means that customers have the option of adding a water boiler or a water chiller to dispense either hot or cold water from the font. Different sites have different needs and POURD meets all of these, moving cold brew service to front of house, meaning baristas don’t need to go to the fridge or manually mix their concentrate at the start of the day. It also means that one system can deliver cold coffee, a shot of coffee/syrup, and hot or cold water, etc, so that operators can serve multiple beverages from one system.
